MUMBAI: The Zoom Studios, the original content arm of Zoom and Myntra have collaborated to create a first-of-its-kind, digital first, fashion influencer hunt, ‘Myntra Fashion Superstar’.
To be judged by Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha, the show is aimed at finding India’s most sought-after fashion influencer.
“Entertainment and fashion is synonymous with the young India. Our in-depth understanding of the content needs of the genre inspired us to partner with Myntra and put together a first-of-kind reality show that is real, conversational and engaging, true to the ethos of The Zoom Studios. Through this unique concept, we look forward to celebrating India’s first fashion Superstar,” said Nikhil Gandhi, President-Revenue, Times Network.
The show is slated to go live in September across The Zoom Studios and Myntra’s social platforms.
The show is designed to provide an opportunity to fashion aficionados with a knack of creating and projecting styles and bringing forward their unique personalities, through digital and social first content.
Contestants will compete on a variety of fashion styling and digital content innovation tasks to showcase their penchant for fashion.
The call to entries will be live from June 26th till July 10th, inviting video-applications through both online social channels and direct emails.
Participants need to upload a 60 second video showcasing their signature style and what they have, to be India’s first and biggest fashion superstar.
The winner of the show will be crowned India’s ‘Fashion Superstar’ and will get an opportunity to have their own line at Myntra and become the face of fashion on Zoom.
“The hunt for India’s fashion superstar through a unique digital first fashion reality show, offers fashion influencers a one of a kind opportunity to showcase their special talent and make it big in this industry. Through this show, we plan to enrich and empower the influencer community and also discover new ways of building a fashion influencer community with a pan India reach. By opening the doors of the contest for all, Myntra is staying true to its philosophy of making fashion more democratic and inclusive,” said Amar Nagaram, Head, Myntra Jabong.
