More than 6,000 sellers from cities including Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai and Surat have already signed up for the initiative, where they will receive special training and learn how to manage their manpower. Flipkart is working closely with Skillventory to carry out the workshops.
“We are happy to announce Big Billion Days preparation initiatives for our seller base. Both ‘Flipkart Seller Campus’ and ‘Flipkart Helping Hands’ focuses on training and enabling sellers across India to manage demand during India’s biggest sale event – Big Billion Days between 13th and 17th October. Offering sellers’ special training modules along with manpower assistance support, every seller can enroll for these programs. So far, we have reached out to over 6000 sellers through these programs and expect to touch base with majority of the sellers participating on Big Billion Days.”said Manish Maheshwari, Head & VP, Seller Ecosystem, Flipkart.
