E-procurement company cloudBuy launched its ecommerce solutions, to assist Indian businesses to grow globally. The company creates services for buyers and sellers, by connecting them together on online marketplaces and private purchasing portals.

cloudBuy has partnered with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to offer an online gateway, that will provide a safe B2B platform for its 8000 members. The company has also received favourable co-operation from bodies such as UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) for promotion at conventions and the UK-India Business Council (UKIBC) for encouraging business between Indian and British companies.
“India’s market size for indirect material is huge. Though b2b ecommerce in India is at a nascent stage, the Indian government is actively encouraging state-owned and private companies to adopt online procurement solutions, as they have the potential to speed economic growth and enhance productivity,” said Hemant Bhange, Director, cloudBuy’s global solutions.
