Amazon staffer held for stealing electronic goods; six others under police scannerBENGALURU: The head of the warehouse facility of e-commerce major Amazon has been arrested for allegedly stealing electronic gadgets. Six others, who are suspected to be involved in the crime, are under scanner. 

Krishnan V, a resident of Manjunatha Nagar on Magadi Road, was arrested after Amazon Transportation Services Pvt Ltd employee Jaskirat Singh Narula filed a complaint with Siddapura police. Police said Krishnan and other accused worked in Amazon regional branch in Arekempanahalli, near Lalbagh.

They used to steal electronic gadgets and other items stored in the area. The goods were not delivered as their bar codes were not visible and had to be returned, but the accused stole them on April 17. The theft came to light only on May 17 during stock-checking. After going through the CCTV footage, Amazon authorities filed a complaint. Police recovered mobile phones, bluetooth headphones, kitchen items, shoes, bedsheets and grocery items from the accused.
